Batman Unavailable To Save New York!

 

New York, New York, August 2024 – Although Batman is unavailable, Executive Producer David Harris Katz and his team strapped on their Utility Belts, and is proud to announce the launch of a vibrant and uplifting new image campaign designed to rejuvenate the spirit of the Big Apple. 

 

This creative endeavor aims to infuse energy and passion into revitalizing tourism and inspiring New Yorkers and those around the globe to reconnect with NYC, its vibrant boroughs, and its picturesque upstate. It's all about the unique experiences you can't find anywhere else!

 

Executive Producer, David Harris Katz's passion for New York City and music was ignited during his involvement in the multi-million dollar, iconic "We're 4 New York" campaign for WNBC, where he served as a Producer alongside the legendary Executive Producer Randy Pyburn. The "We're 4 New York" campaign featured the musical prowess of jingle master Edd Kalehoff, renowned for creating some of television's most memorable songs and jingles. That campaign became a huge success for the station and New York as a whole.

 

The inspiration for this new initiative emerged during the production of a television series created and produced by Katz. The series is based on the real-life experience of a man who, for five years, invited commuters to chat or play a game while waiting for their train, a project he called "Date While You Wait." This concept rapidly gained traction, spreading like wildfire across the globe. The series won an Emmy® Award, received numerous Emmy® nominations, and earned over a dozen prestigious platinum and gold awards, along with international press coverage. The series can be seen weekly on NYC Media's flagship broadcast channel, NYC Life. 

 

"Date While You Wait" opened with a song titled "Today is The Best Day in Your Life," which inspired Katz to transform the lyrics into "Today is The Best Day in New York." This concept became the foundation for the new image campaign aimed at drawing people back to the city and reigniting excitement about all the wonderful experiences New York City and the state have to offer.

 

The campaign's catchy tune will have audiences tapping their feet, eager to explore New York City and the entire state. The stunning visuals capture the essence of New York, making viewers want to watch it repeatedly to ensure they are able to take it all in!
